In the business of welding the common problems are not having enough business to sustain or having too much business to keep up with. In my transition from an hourly employee to a business owner, I have come to see these problems. No one person can do it all on their own. At some point they, we, you, me, will need some help. When you are the person that has to pay an employee, you find out real quick that you don't want to hire someone that is just taking up space. When you are footing the bill you want every second that employee is on the clock to be productive. In order for that to happen you have to have the work available for the employee to do.
The gospel story of Jesus Christ illustrates this in a sense. Jesus the son of God, came to earth to fulfill the story of redemption. Though He was God incarnate, He walked on earth as a man. He was in charge but He had to humble Himself to accomplish His purpose.
If you are a business owner, or have aspirations of becoming one, learn this lesson that the Savior of the world taught. He came from heaven to earth to show us the way, but He couldn't fulfill His purpose alone. He had to rely on a team. The disciples are responsible for sharing the gospel after Jesus rose. The disciples started and taught the churches after Jesus rose.
If Jesus needed the help of others to complete His goal and establish His Kingdom, it would be wise for me and other business owners to humble themselves and incorporate the help of others.
