The G.O.A.T’s of faith are Enoch and Elijah. Neither saw death. Hebrews 11 says that Enoch pleased God then goes on to say that without faith it is impossible to please God. So in the little we know about him we know Enoch got this right. And God rewarded him with a seemingly early retirement to heaven (he was 365 years old).
Elijah’s story is more extensive and detailed. We see him in his ups and downs. Serving God. We see his interaction with Elisha and the vision he had. He was going to heaven in a whirlwind. So he moved with a sense of urgency. And he left a legacy, by mentoring Elisha.
As you go throughout your day today think on these men of God. But don’t feel like you may as well not even try to attain ridiculous faith like them. Achieve your own faith. It may be forgiving a co worker, even if it wasn’t your fault. You’d call that ridiculous. So move in faith. We grow from faith to faith. Build your faith resume everyday. Pray for that headache today. Praise God when He heals it. Then when the flu attacks you you can be like David. He had already killed a bear and lion. All in preparation of Goliath. When you believe God can heal your flu and headache you’ve built your resume. So if cancer comes up in the life of somebody in your circle you can pray and believe that God can and will heal that.
We can achieve ridiculous faith, take the leap out before you today!
